The implement comprising a planting tube (5) for a seedling, which is provided at the top with a handle and at the bottom with a shovel (3) and which carries at the bottom a support (80) arranged in an articulated manner. The axis of articulation is perpendicular to the tube axis. The support is provided at its free end with a soil anchorage (15) which serves as a pivot point for the shovel when the planting hole is being lifted out.
