<p>1505302 Petrol and diesel fuel additives AUTOL AG 21 May 1975 [22 May 1974 (2)] 21755/75 Heading C5G A petrol or diesel fuel has dissolved therein, to prevent completely or partially the formation of deposits, an additive comprising an ester of a saturated cycloaliphatic alcohol having 5 to 7 ring carbon atoms and a lower fatty acid of up to 5 carbon atoms. A petrol or diesel fuel additive comprises the ester and an ingredient useful to prevent corrosion and/or reduce engine wear. The fuel may contain, besides the ester, a condensation product derived from 1 mole of glycerol, or 1 mole of a polyethanolamine, and 1 to 2 moles of a fatty acid of at least 10 carbon atoms, one or more refined mineral oils with a viscosity of at least 1À6‹ E. at 20‹ C. and not more than 15‹ E. at 50‹ C., aliphatic hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons.</p> |
