<p>Method for cutting very long glass profiles of U section moving in a straight line, consists of cutting the profile transversely using two cutting tools accompanying the profile in its longitudinal movement. The first tool cuts the profile in one half of its cross-section from a point in the middle of the base of the U to a point at the top of the branch of the U. The other half is then cut similarly. The process can be automated rather than having the glass cut manually.</p> |
