<p>The process is for unrolling a long flexible item with the aid of pressure rollers, being particularly for pulling or thrusting a prestressing cable. The rollers (1, 2) are offset in relation to each other, and their distance from the axis of advance of the cable etc. (3) is adjusted so as to cause an undulation of it between them. The amplitude of the undulation determines the amount of grip, by varying the area of the contact surfaces between the cable and the roller grooves. The rollers can be mounted in pairs coupled by parallel and pivoting links, their angle regulating their position in relation to the cable.</p> |
