PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize adequate combustion control even when fuel property fluctuates.SOLUTION: A diesel engine 10 comprises an injector 17 which injects fuel into a combustion chamber 11b. An ECU 40 has: kinetic viscosity acquisition means which acquires kinetic viscosity of the fuel; density acquisition means which acquires density of the fuel; component calculation means which calculates a ratio of a carbon amount to a hydrogen amount in the fuel or a parameter correlated with the ratio as fuel component data on the basis of the kinetic viscosity acquired by the kinetic viscosity acquisition means and the density acquired by the density acquisition means; and control means which executes combustion control with respect to combustion of the fuel injected into the combustion chamber through a fuel injection valve on the basis of the fuel component data calculated by the component calculation means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
