APPARATUS FOR SORTING MECHANICAL RESONATORS ACCORDING TO INHERENT FREQUENCY

The automatic frequency trimming system for mechanical resonators has the resonators fed by a conveyor onto the circumference of a rotating table that carries them to a first station (6) where they are magnetised. From the first station they pass individually to a treatment station (16) and from there on to a measuring station (20) which generates a magnetic field, using an oscillator, and compares the resonator actual frequency with that of the required frequency. The resonators are then rejected or accepted according to the test result.
