<p>The grinder disc dressing system subjects the disc surface to the action of one or more tools. A regular pattern is marked on the disc surface, typically by matching movement of the marking tool and the speed of rotation of the disc. The grooves formed can be inclined to the axis of the disc, while not intersecting each other. A multi-start screw thread can be produced by one or more tools, or a rotary tool can be used, its axis intersecting that of the disc, so as to make a pattern of grooves on the disc surface.</p> |
