<p>High-purity dialkyl thionocarbamates are economically produced by reacting suitable xanthates with alkyl amines in the presence of a dissolved catalyst. Nickel and palladium salts are preferred catalysts. Thionocarbamates produced by the method of the invention are a desirable flotation reagent for certain refractory copper sulfide ores.</p> |
