This polar solvent solution comprises a polyaminoacid-containing solute dissolved in a polar solvent, wherein an inorganic salt is added to the solution and the value of the molar ratio in the solution of the water content and the inorganic salt is less than or equal to 2.5×m×n (m is the number of cations forming the inorganic salt, and n is the charge number of said cations). This production method of the aforementioned solution involves adjusting the viscosity of the solution by changing the water content in the solution and/or the content of the inorganic salt. The present invention provides a polar solvent solution, and a production method thereof, which, used as a dope solution for spinning or for films, etc., enables easily bringing the viscosity to the desired value and thereby enables stable spinning and casting. |
