<p>A method of reinforcing fiberglass sheet material in which an inflatable envelope having a plurality of marginally sealed perforations therethrough is applied to the surface of the material. A wet layer of settable reinforcing material is then applied over the envelope and onto that part of the sheet material exposed by the perforations. The envelope is then inflated so as to cause the wet layer to assume a cratered form which is then allowed to solidify to form a reinforcing structure on the sheet material.</p> |
