<p>Disclosed is a retention catheter of the Foley type and a method of manufacturing such a catheter. The catheter is comprised of an extruded tube with a funnel at one end and, at the other end, a closed end sleeve peripherally bonded to the tube and having a substantially solid tip. The method of manufacture includes the step of radially compressing the tube and sleeve while bonding.</p> |
