The pressure hose for conveyance of material under high pressure comprises a rubber core and cover with interposed reinforcement material comprising units which are bendable at predetermined angles to the hose lengthways axis. The under layer of the reinforcement material (3) is interwoven on the rubber core (1) of the hose at an angle of 15 to 45 deg. to the hose lengthway axis, whilst the upper layer of reinforcement (4) is wound in the form of a spiral at an angle of 75 to 90 deg. to the same axis, and is located under the rubber cover (2) of the hose. Between the layers of reinforcement material (3, 4) there is an intermediary sheet of rubber (5).
