<p>1522129 Oligomerization of olefines ANIC SpA 17 July 1975 [2 Aug 1974] 53864/77 Divided out of 1520748 Heading C3P One or more linear C3-C12 alpha olefines are oligomerized in the presence of a catalyst comprising (a) an organo aluminium compound and (b) a compound of the formula MeXnYm, where Me is Sn, Si, Pb, Ge, B, Sb, As, Bi or Mg; X is halide, ClO-4, HSO-4, NO-2, NO-3 or ClO3 anion and Y is O or Sand m is 0 or an integer, a mixture of the alpha olefine(s) and (a) at a temperature of 14 to 25‹ C. being mixed with (b) dissolved in a cooled solvent and the temperature during the oligomerization not exceeding 35‹ C. The product oligomer may be hydrogenated. In examples butene-1 is oligomerized in pentane using AlEtCl2 and SbCl5, SnCl4 or Mg(ClO4)2 as catalyst.</p> |
