The purpose of the present invention is to provide a temporary vertebral immobilization implement (1), which limits bending of the spinal column and protects nerve tissue when setting a vertebral attachment implement such as a pedicle screw while allowing appropriate insertion of the vertebral attachment implement, and a temporary vertebral immobilization implement unit. To achieve said purpose, this temporary vertebral immobilization implement (1), which temporarily immobilizes vertebrae (50) by clamping long, flexible auxiliary vertebral immobilization members (40) when the auxiliary vertebral immobilization members (40) are disposed along the spiny processes (51) of multiple vertebrae (50), is provided with: a clamping section for clamping the auxiliary vertebral immobilization members (40); a fixing section for fixing the relative movement of the clamping section; and a releasing section for releasing the fixation of the relative movement by the fixing section. |
