PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode material having more excellent characteristics by solving problems of a carbon material used as a negative electrode active material in an all solid lithium ion secondary battery using a solid electrolyte having lithium ion conductivity.SOLUTION: A mixture of carbon material powder and solid electrolyte powder is filled in a container having electric conductivity, and is pressurized and energized for sintering with a DC pulse current in non-oxidation atmosphere. As a result, a carbon-solid electrolyte complex is obtained which includes the carbon material powder and the solid electrolyte powder joined to each other and has improved lithium ion conductivity.
