A guide arrangement (1) and a strip-profiling block (2) with strip-profiling rollers (3) driven positively by an articulated shaft are arranged on a frame. Arranged remote therefrom in the frame is a reduction gear unit, one output of which is connected to an electric motor and the other output of which is connected to a shaft on the end of which is arranged a drawing and winding drum (5) surrounded by an ejector bush connected at the front to the frame and having an inner helical groove with two turns. A seam-closing roller (6) is pressed onto the circumference of the drawing and winding drum from above. The seam-closing roller is driven by a toothed rim of the drum by means of a gear wheel. A cutting-off apparatus is arranged next to the drawing and winding drum. <IMAGE>
