446,744. Inspection lamps on motor vehicles. LLOYD, 1. M., 73, Moore Park Road, Fulham, London. Oct. 30, 1934, No. 31107. [Class 79 (iii)] [See also Group XXXVII] An inspection lamp 7 situated beneath the bonnet 9, 10 of a motor vehicle is adapted to be automatically lighted when either side 9 or 10 of the bonnet is opened. The raising of a side 9 or 10 allows a spring-biassed plunger 15 or 16 to ascend, a conical portion 15A or 16A thereby moving to allow contacts 11, 12 or 13, 14 to close. In either case a circuit is completed to the lamp 7. This circuit may be arranged in parallel with the circuit to the side lamps, all three circuits being controlled by another switch. |
