<p>PURPOSE:In a method where reduced iron is used as part of pig iron row material in an induction furnace, it is intended to aeffectively reduce the amounts of component adjustors and also to decrease erosion of a furnace due to melted slag, by removing melted slag which will be formed in large quantities due to gangue minerals contained in the reduced iron, and thereafter by adding the component adjustors.</p> |
