Motif reproduction system producing solid or outline symbols - using objective lens movable laterally relative to motif edge

The motif reproduction appts. has an objective lens which is moved laterally relative to the edge of the motif during the reproduction process. The motion is in a plane at right angles to the central axis of the light beam. The film recording (5) remains covered and unilluminated in the region of the motif surface (3a). A light-impermeable motif surface (3a) is placed between the film support (4) and the film (5). The objective lens is moved on a variable circular path by a motor drive so that the width of the illuminated motif border can be adjusted. In this way solid or outline symbols can be formed.
