<p>Undesirable effects, such as heaviness, oiliness and stringiness, accompanying the deposition of lusterising amounts of polydimethylsiloxane on the hair during shampooing are reduced or overcome without substantially affecting lustre by the presence in the shampoo composition of a cationic cellulosic hair bodying agent. The cationic cellulosic hair bodying agent also possesses the property of increasing the amount of polydimethylsiloxane deposited on the hair.</p> |
