On the base(3) rests the main unit(2) which is pulled by a soft built-in hand grip at one end to approximately 1/3 beyond the length of the base(3) releasing two legs(11) identical in height to the thickness of the base(3). The units acting as armrests(33) and backrests(30, 31) when the item is used as a settee are laid alongside one another at the head on the base unit. Two tubular U-shaped supports(35) maintain the smaller units(30, 31, 33) in place and stop them from sliding when used as a settee.
