A gardening shear 10 comprises a handle 20, a first shear blade 30, a second shear blade 40 and a control unit 50. The first shear blade 30 is pivoted at a top end of the handle 20, and the second shear blade 40 is pivoted to the first shear blade 30 and comprises a second blade portion 41 and a second handle 42, wherein the second handle 42 is connected to a bottom end of the second blade portion 41 and comprises a pressing face 43 and a gear rack 44 opposite to the pressing face 43. The control unit 50 comprises a gear 52 and an pushing member 54, wherein the gear 52 is provided at the handle 20 and engages with the gear rack 44 of the second handle 42 of the second shear blade 40, and the pushing member 54 presses against the pressing face 43 of the second handle 42 of the second shear blade 40. The gardening shear 10 increases operating smoothness of a shearing process of the first shear blade and the second shear blade by the combination of the gear 52 and the gear rack 44 and a pushing force of the pushing member 54 to the second shear blade 40, and improves structural strength. |
