摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance the characteristics by exciting the flexion vibration of the crystal oscillator with the Y-axis direction component of the electric field to be aplied. CONSTITUTION:Electrode 8 and 9 are provided to flexion crystal oscillator 7, and lead-out wire 10 and 11 doubling the support are connected to the electrodes. With aplication of voltage of electrode 8 and 9, the field is applied the Y-axial direction of the crystal. This field causes the slip distortion within the XZ surface. As the field direction becomes reverse at the opposite side in terms of the length direction of the oscillator, the slip distortion becomes reverse as well to cause the flexion motion. In this method, the combination is secured with the slip distortion within the ZX and XY surface owing to use of the field in the Y-axis direction, thus reducing the combination with unnecessary vibration. Also, tye lowering of the mechanical combination coefficient becomes less than conventional even though the electrode may be approximated to the center line of the oscillator, thus improving greatly the againg property, the Q-value and others.
