<p>PURPOSE:To perform retrieval of tape accurately and rapidly by controlling the voltages of reel motors by way of a microprocessor according to the differences between tape position and the preset retrieval potition thereby performing changeover controlling of high and low speed modes. CONSTITUTION:The differences between the display of a tape position display device 37 and the display having been preset in a retrieval position display device 39 are counted with a microprocessor 38. According to the count value thereof, the processor 38 controls the voltates to be applied to supply, thke-up reel motors 42, 43 through motor driving circuits 44, 45. This causes running of the tape to be selectively changed over to high-speed mode and low-speed mode according to the tape movement up o the retrieval position having been preset by way of latch circuits 48, 49 according to the command signal of the processor 38. Hence, the retrieval of the tape may be performed rapidly and accurately without repeating fast feeding and rewinding.</p> |
