摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide an automatic control system for stopping train at predetermined position by way of on-vehicle pattern system, which is capable of making the most use of braking performance of vehicles even on the portion of the track where the gradient is changed rather in a wide range, whereby it is enabled to bring the train to a stop at a predetermined position in a shortest while. CONSTITUTION:In an automatic control system for stopping train at predetermined position, in which train control is carried out by detecting, by means of position detector 5, a ground element 4 disposed at point P located a predetermined distance (l) before an aimed stop position 0, detecting the distance from the point P by means of speed generator 1 and distance integrating circuit 3, generating aimed speed pattern Vp by means of pattern generator 6, comparing the pattern Vp with train speed Vt detected by speed calculating circuit 2 by means of comparator 7, and controlling break system 9 by means of brake controlling means 8 on the basis of the output signal of the comparator 7; there is provided a pattern selecting signal detector 10 adapted for controlling the pattern generator 6 to produce three kind of aimed speed patterns Vp1-Vp3 corresponding to the downward slope, flat ground and upward slope, respectivey.</p>
