CO sensors are prepd. from SnO2-base compns. contg. small amts. of Sn chloride and a catalyst as pt chloride or pt black So that the total pt content is 0.5-10wt.% and adding sintering materials, and are presintered at 400-900≦̸C in oxidn. atm. The Co sensors are semiconductor-type and have high sensitivity toward only CO and are acted upon at relatively low temp.
