PURPOSE:To prevent clogging of dust collection filter, by melting and binding the removed residual toner in a passage of warm air to roughen the particle size. CONSTITUTION:The residual toner removed in a magnetic blank is softened or melted in a passage 14 in which warm air flows in from a warm air path 13, so that the particles are bound together to be larger in size. This rough toner particles are expelled outwards by the turning inertial force of inclined faces 19 ... provided in the same direction as the air flow of a filter 11 in a dust collector 9, and are separated from the air flow to be collected in a dust box 12. On the other hand, the toner of small mass smaller in particle size passes through holes 20 ... in the filter 11 and is separated by a straining filter 10, to be collected in the bottom through a vibrator 21. Therefore, a dust collection method hardly clogging the filter may be realized. |
