The mounting clip (10) comprises a holding element (12), which is inserted into an opening of a carrier in an insertion direction (R). Multiple expanding arms (28) are engaged behind the opening of the carrier. An expanding element (14) is inserted into a recess (19) of the holding element against the insertion direction, such that the expanding arms are brought into an expanded position from an initial position.
