PURPOSE:To reduce the increment of the number of operations of a marker by causing the marker to skip the etelephone set of a representative subscriber in case of the lockout of this telephone set and select another telephone set. CONSTITUTION:When accepting te incoming call to representative subscriber SUB, marker MKR starts number group NG to sent the trunk number and the incoming number through path 1 and inputs busy information of representative subscriber SUB of trunk memory TRMEM to NG to perform representative selection and translation operation and accepts this result as translation information to perform connection operation. When the selected telephone set is lockout, the marker starts NG again and sends the same number to NG and returns translation information also. NG refers to the trunk memory again and sends new translation information to the marker. The marker accepts new translation information to drive a switch. In this unit, the number of operations of the marker is increased by one only when the lockout telephone set is selected, and the increment of the number of operations is reduced.
