PURPOSE:To perform good dveloping always stably without being affected by use environments by providing a means of maintaining the surface temperature of an electrostatic image carrier at above the specified temperature. CONSTITUTION:A liquid developing means consisting of a turning member 41 for development performing supplying of developer onto a carrier 17 and recovery of excess developer and a vessel 22 of developer in which a part of the member 41 is dipped is provided as a means of developing the electrostatic images formed on the electrostatic image carrier 17. A temperature regulating means 48 for maintaining the surface temperature of the carrier 17 at above the specified temperature is constituted by an element 47 detecting the internal temperature of the liquid developing means and a heating element 46 actuated when the surface temperature of the carrier 17 is below the specified. |
