An electromotive adjusting device comprises an elastic intermediary member (7') consisting of two transmission members (11, 12) to be axially adjusted towards or away from each other from a common static position and a spring (13) under initial stress to be acted upon in both directions by the two transmission members, during which movement the spring (13) will be compressed.
