PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner for enabling a user to easily obtain the amount of dust collected in a dust collection chamber.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner includes: a main body having an electric blower; and a dust collection unit that is attachable/detachable to/from the main body and has a revolution part for revolving dust-containing air sucked by suction blow generated by operating the electric blower and a dust collection chamber that collects dust centrifugally separated from the air in the revolution part and through which visible light is transmissive. A part of the revolution part is removably stored inside the dust collection chamber. The main body includes a light source unit that is arranged to face the dust collection chamber while the dust collection unit is attached to the main body, and radiates the visible light toward the dust collection chamber. The center of the revolution part is arranged at a position laterally deviated from the center of the main body when viewed from a front side being the advance direction side of the main body while the dust collection unit is attached to the main body. The light source unit is arranged at a position on the opposite side of the center of the revolution part from the center of the main body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 |
