PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet device which efficiently collect a volatile organic compound contained in a liquid, and can reduce an amount to be discharged to an external.SOLUTION: A liquid jet device 1 includes: a liquid jet head 22 having a nozzle 21 for jetting a liquid containing a volatile organic compound to a medium M; and a maintenance part 40 which has a cap 41 for forming a closed space including an opening of the nozzle, and a suction part 45 for sucking a fluid from the closed space, and carries out maintenance for discharging the liquid from the nozzle by decompressing the closed space. The maintenance part includes a filter 10 arranged to absorb the volatile organic compound contained in the fluid discharged from the liquid jet head.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
