PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of an engaging work at an inner engaging joint and reduce working load.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an inner surface engaging joint in which a seal member 5 is compressed in a pipe axis direction and closely contacted with an inner circumferential surface of a socket 1 and an outer circumferential surface of an insertion port 2. A pressing mechanism Pof the seal member 5 includes a pushing ring 52, a pushing bolt 11 screwed into the pushing ring 52 and an engaging rod 21 held between a head part 12 of the pushing bolt 11 and a step surface 4 of the socket 1. The head part 12 of the pushing bolt 11 is formed into a gear shape and a shaft protrusion 13 protruded at one end surface of the head part 12 or the engaging rod 21 is rotatably fitted to a shaft hole 22 formed at the other end surface. The gear of the auxiliary tool A is engaged with the head part 12 of the pushing bolt 11 under a state in which the other end of the engaging rod 21 is abutted against the step surface 4, a tool engaging shaft 36 of the auxiliary tool A is rotated by a rotary tool W and the seal member 5 is compressed in a pipe axis direction through the pushing ring 52 as the pushing bolt 11 is screwed out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
