The carburettor for i/c engines with controlled ignition, used in automotive applications, has pressure and suction output which provide a permanent and fine adjustment of the engine's mixture feed commensurate with its operating conditions. Air is fed with a constant level to the upper part of the intake (9) or is withdrawn from it dependent upon the situation of combustion of the mixture in the engine. This is controlled by a system of probes and in all feed passages, (11, 14, 19) stop valves (22, 23, 24) are fitted. In the carburettor is a channel for feed back of air and fuel vapour, and the intake upper part is connected with the downstream area from the air filter by means of a calibrated passage (27, 28).
|
