PURPOSE:To provide a high dielectric strength and cutthrough characteristic, by applying a polythylene composite, mainly composed of graft polyethylene flame- retarded at a prescribed softening point, onto the conductor, then with an exposure processed in the water under a presence of silanols reducing catalyzer. CONSTITUTION:A polyethylene composite, with a flame retarder blended, being mainly composed of polyethylene of softening point above a temperature of 105 deg.C and grafted by a silanes compound of general formula RR' SiY2, is applied an extrusion coating onto the conductor to be made into an insulation layer. This is immersed in the water solution of silanos reducing catalyzer of carboxylic acid salts like dibutyl tin. Subsequently, onto the insulation layer is applied a polymer composite, likely having a flameproof character, for instance, of flame retarded polyethylene chloride resins, with a protection coat layer constructed. In such way, a use of suitable flame retarded insulation layer for the inner layer causes no lowering of the high dielectric strength cutthrough characteristic, even with an economical pvc resin used for protection coating onto the outer layer. |
