PURPOSE:To avoid shifting of the filter frequency characteristics from the designed value by providing another matching shift compensating charge transfer line to secure an automatic correction for the positioning of the split electrodes. CONSTITUTION:In addition to charge transfer line A, charge transfer line B for shift compensation is added newly in the CCD transversal filter. And electrode 2 and 7 plus 3 and 7 are provided at the plus (+) and minus (-) sides each to the split electrodes (oblique-lined parts) prescribed by boundary 1 and 5 of A and B respectively. At the same time, the electric connection is given between signal detecting split electrodes 2 and 8 as well as 3 and 7. This connection is given to all split electrodes of the filter, and the split electrodes of each step are connected all to the sense lines corresponding each. In this way, the constitution features two parallel transfer lines, and thus the filter frequency characteristics can be secured as designed even in case the positioning shift may be caused between the split electrodes in the course of the IC manufacturing. |
