<p>The clasp for a safety belt consists of a tongue and a housing. The housing has a base and parallel sides which extend inwards at the top. Pieces on a plane parallel to the base of the housing are bent to form guide rails. A locking lever is hinged at one side at least. A release mechanism consists of a press-button with side guide pieces which work in conjunction with the guide rails. Two parallel oblique guide pieces work in conjunction with projections joined to the contact surface of the locking lever.</p> |
