PURPOSE:To control coarsening of fine aluminosilicate particles due to secondary coagulation or the like by heating a slurry contg. a specified amt. of aluminosilicate under press. and by spray-drying the heated slurry in the air at a low temp. CONSTITUTION:A slurry consisting of 10-50% aluminosilicate and 90-50% water is heated to above 100, pref. 100-200 deg.C under above 5, pref. 10-20 kg/cm<2> and spray-dried in the air of a temp. below 50 deg.C and a humidity below 80, pref. below 60% RH, thus obtaining aluminosilicate consisting of little coagulated coarse particles of 50-400 mu diameter and most fine primary particles of 0.1-10 mu diameter. The resulting aluminosilicate is mixed into a granular detergent for clothing or blended into a detergent slurry. |
