A collision detection device for a vehicle has: a bumper absorber (2) disposed within a bumper of the vehicle at a position in front, with respect to the vehicle, of a bumper reinforcement; a tube member (3) for detection, which is mounted in a groove (2a) formed in the bumper absorber in the width direction of the vehicle and having a hollow section (3a) formed therein; and a pressure sensor (4) for detecting pressure within the hollow section in the tube member for detection, and the collision detection device detects a collision of an object against the bumper on the basis of the result of pressure detection by the pressure sensor. The tube member for detection is mounted in the groove while having at least one or more curves (31) curved in the top-bottom direction of the vehicle.
