PURPOSE:To obtain an apparatus capable of sweep-polishing of straight metal pipe inside wall by a mechanism wherein sweep-polishing material is jetted out inside the tube in turbulent eddy flow by applying a recovery gear equipped with a mandrel protruding a part thereof into a pressure-release chamber and an object pipe. CONSTITUTION:At the end of an object pipe A1 protruding out of the pipe plate A of a heat exchanger, sweep-polishing material ejector pipe 13 of an appropriate length equipped with ejection nozzle 12 at its inner center is applied, while at the other end of the pipe A1, a recovery gear 20 equipped with pressure-release chamber is fit, and a gas mixed with sweep-polishing material is ejected into the pipe A1 from the nozzle 12. At the recovery gear 20, its mandrel 24 protrudes into the inside of the pipe A1 and because the gear has exhaust outlet port 25, the compressed gas flown from the pipe A1 is rapidly exhausted out. However, the protruded mandrel 24 constitutes resistance against the flowing out gas, the mixed gas moves in turbulance making eddy flow at high speed, sweep-polishing the inner wall of the pipe uniformly, and the gas material is recovered at the recovery gear 20 for reuse. |
