<p>PURPOSE:To obviate the occurrence of crease, skew, etc. by so setting paper feed speeds that a sag is formed between conveying rollers and changing over the paper feed speeds so as to maintain the sag of the required quantity when the sag of the required length is formed. CONSTITUTION:Copying paper 1 wound in roll from is subsequently conveyed by the 1st roller 2, 2nd roller 3 and 3rd roller 4. The cutter 5 for the copying paper 1 is provided between the rollers 2 and 3. When the paper conveying speeds of the rollers 2,3,4 are let to be V1, V2, V3 respectively, the respective paper feed speeds are so set as to satisfy V2>=V1>V3 at the start of paper feeding, due to which a sag is produced between the rollers 3 and 4. On the other hand, when this sag becomes of a specified length, it is detected by a micro-switch or the like, by which a paper feed speed changeover device 7 is driven until V1 and V2 satisfy V1>=V2= V3. Namely, an electromagnetic clutch 15 goes ON upon detecting of the above to continue to maintain the sag of the specified length, whereby the copying paper 1 is conveyed.</p> |
