PURPOSE:The air inside the wrapped rice cake is evacuated, then the rice cake is formed in a mold, thus producing square-shaped rice cake that is completely packed and can be stored for long periods of time. CONSTITUTION:High-temperature rice cake is changed in the hopper of a pump for sending rice cake and forced through a pipe and cut with a cutter as piano wire at the outlet of the pipe in a certain interval. The cut rice cake falls on a film, which is formed into a tube containing the rice cake and sealed at the center. A slit is cut at the part between cased rice cakes and the casing is nipped with a mold equipped with seal bars. The air inside is evacuated by making the inside of the mold vacuum and the slit and the part between casings are heat sealed. The sealed product is placed in the retainer for heat treatment and molded into square shape. |
