PURPOSE:To prevent the contact wear between heating pipes and a tube plate by providing a wear-resistant brazing layer at that portion of each of the pipes in contact with the tube plate and inserting a non-wear-resistant sacrifice sleeve between the brazing layer and the through hole of the tube plate. CONSTITUTION:At that portion of each heating pipe 2 passed through a tube plate 1 which is subject to contact wear, there is provided a brazing layer 5 made of a wear-resistant metal over a region longer than the width of the tube plate 1. Split sleeves 3 slightly longer than the width of the plate 1 and made of a non-wear- resistant metal are inserted between the brazing layer 5 and the through hole of the plate 1, and build-up welding 4 is conducted at the ends of the sleeves 3 so as to prevent the sleeves 3 from slipping off the tube plate 1. The temperature rise in the pipes 2 due to the metal brazing is negligible; the brazing layer 5 is so thin that it does not affect the heat transfer effect; and the sacrificial wear of the sleeves 3 prevent the contact wear between the tube plate 1 and the heating pipes 2. |
