<p>It is known to modify the properties of bitumen and bituminous compositions by the addition of fluxing agents. Such agents are expensive and could be used more wisely in other applications. The present invention seeks to overcome this drawback by providing a bituminous composition comprising a blend or a blown blend of bitumen and a fluxing agent, wherein the fluxing agent is a used lubricating oil and is present in an amount from 5 to 95% by weight based on the total composition.</p> |
