A driven flap arrangement for an aircraft or a spacecraft, in particular for sealing an air-intake aperture for a starter turbine of an aircraft engine wherein connected to the drive by way of a coupling mechanism 5, 7, 9, 10 is a flap locking device 6 which is biassed by a driving lever 5, forming part of the coupling mechanism, in its unlocking direction X against closing forces acting on the flap locking device 6 trying to bias it in its locking direction Y, the biassing of the locking device 6 in its unlocking direction being maintained until the flap 2 is brought into its closed position, thereby preventing premature locking of the locking device 6.
