A controllable damping shock absorber, comprising a housing (1) and a piston rod (2) capable of sliding along an inner wall of the housing (1), the piston rod (2) being provided with a first damping unit (3) which can move along with the piston rod (2) and generate a friction force with the inner wall of the housing (1); a receiving space is formed between a part of the piston rod (2) and the inner wall of the housing (1), a second damping unit (4) matching with the inner wall of the housing (1) is arranged in the receiving space, and the second damping unit (4) vertically moves along the inner wall of the housing (1) and generates a friction force with the inner wall of the housing (1); when stroke of the shock absorber is smaller than a preset value, the second damping unit (4) is fixed relative to the inner wall of the housing (1); and when the stroke of the shock absorber is larger than the preset value, the second damping unit (4) vertically moves along the inner wall of the housing (1). A washing machine, comprising the controllable damping shock absorber. Because the shock absorber has the structure, damping thereof can be automatically adjusted according to the magnitude of vibration during a using process, thereby effectively reducing vibration, and improving a vibration reduction effect. |
