<p>PURPOSE:To reduce impact force exerted to a stationary rake and a vertically movable rake at the time of turning steel material by causing the turning of the steel material in two groups, with the timing of turning of one group shifted with respect to the other group. CONSTITUTION:When a vertcially movable rake 10 is raised with the contraction of oil hydraulic cylinders, its support stages 54 are brought into contact with steel material A3, thus causing the rotation of the steel material A3 about apexes 40 of a stationary rake 9 in the direction 5 of transfer. When the vertically movable rake 10 is further raised, inclined surfaces 45 of the vertical rake 10 are brought into contact with steel material A2 and A4 to cause rotation thereof about valleys 39 of the stationary rake 9 in the direction 5 of transfer. Since the turning of the steel material is thus caused in two groups with the timing of turning of one group shifted with respect to the other group, the impact force exerted to the stationary rake 9 and vertically movable rake 10 is reduced compared to the case of causing the turning of the steel material all at once.</p> |
