The device has a nozzle (1) that comprises a front end (3), where the nozzle delivers a jet approximately perpendicular to a portion of the eye to be treated. A reserve of lavage fluid is provided in the device, where the lavage fluid contains a balanced saline solution, and includes an agent. The front end is allowed to face a portion of the eye, where the lavage fluid is provided through an opening (4). The opening has a length that is 1 to 4 times its width. The jet is provided parallel to longitudinal axis of the nozzle. |
