PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording ink that can bring about a high image density even on a plain paper of low water-soluble polyvalent metal salt content and has an excellent storage stability.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording ink contains at least water, a water soluble solvent, a pigment, and a copolymer having phosphate group and is characterized in that the copolymer at least has structural units represented by the following (formula 1), diacetone (meth)acrylamide, and stearyl (meth)acrylate, or benzyl (meth)acrylate. In (formula 1), half or more of Mis alkali metal ion or organic ammonium ion and the remainder is proton; R1 represents methyl group or hydrogen atom; and n and m each represents an integer of 0 to 6 (but must not be equal to 0 at the same time). |
